Day 1: Delhi

Welcome by our representative at the airport upon arrival. Then, be driven to your hotel. Go for a city tour starting with Birla Mandir. Move to India Gate, the war memorial to 82,000 soldiers! See the Parliament of India, our temple of democracy. Also visit the Lotus Temple, the Bahai House of Worship. Then, go to Qutub Minar, the second-tallest minar in India. The afternoon leg of the journey would include the Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques, opposite the “Lal Qila”. The Red Fort, It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan (1592-1666) between 1638 and 1648. You would be taken to Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of The Nation. Enjoy a traditional folk dance event in the evening. Stay at the hotel overnight.

Day 2: Delhi-Agra

Early morning after breakfast leave for Agra via Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna, the Hindu God. Move to Agra, and check into the hotel. Proceed to the most visited monument in India, the Taj Mahal! Is one of the wonders of the world. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan (1592-1666), in the memory of his wife. Next move to the impressive Agra Fort. The massive red sandstone Agra Fort was constructed by the Mughal Emperor, Akbar. (1569-1627). Then, move to the Tomb of I’timd-ud-Daulah, sometimes referred to as “Baby Taj”, since it is thought to have inspired the Taj Mahal. Finally, visit the Tomb Of Akbar The Great. (Sikandra) Return to the hotel, enjoy any remaining time at leisure, and stay overnight.

Day 3: Agra-Fatehpur Sikri-Bharatpur-Jaipur

Check out of the hotel after breakfast and proceed to Fatehpur Sikri. The 16th-century city was founded by Akbar in 1569 to honour Salim Chishti (1478-1572), the Sufi saint. Probably the first thing that comes to mind when one thinks of this historic city is the massive Buland Darwaza. Next, treat the bird watcher in you as you visit the Keoladeo National Park, home to over 380 species of birds. Finally, leave for Jaipur. Upon reaching, check into the hotel. Leisurely spend the remainder of the day. Stay at the hotel overnight.

Day 4: Jaipur

Post breakfast, visit the popular tourist attraction, the Amer/ Amber Fort, constructed in the year 1592, by the Rajput king, Raja Man Singh I. (1550 – 1614) Have an elephant ride there. After lunch, go to Hawa Mahal, the breezy honeycomb-like palace, with 953 windows, resembling Krishna’s crown, the Hindu God. Also visit the Jantar Mantar, the astronomical observatory built by Sawai Jai Singh, the Rajput King. Then, go to the City Palace Museum, dedicated to Raja Sawai Man Singh II. (1912-1970) Walk through the Pink City and be fascinated by the traditional dressing style of the locals. In the night, have an authentic Rajasthani thali meal with unlimited servings! Return to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 5: Jaipur-Pushkar

Proceed to Pushkar, one of the four sacred dhams for Hindus, post breakfast. Check into the hotel upon arrival. Then, visit the colourful Brahma’s Temple, dedicated to the God of creation. The temple is close to Pushkar Lake. Legend has that the lake emerged where petals of a lotus, used by Brahma to slay a demon, fell upon the ground. Spend the rest of the day leisurely. Stay at the hotel overnight.

Day 6: Pushkar-Ranthambore National Park

After breakfast at the hotel, move to Ranthambore National Park. It was the former hunting ground of the rulers of Jaipur. Check into the hotel. Go for a safari in a jeep or canter. The park is home to a large variety of animals, birds and reptiles, notably, tigers, leopards, sloth bears and snub nosed marsh crocodiles. Stay at the hotel overnight.

Day 7: Ranthambore National Park

Spotting a tiger is everyone’s dream when they visit the national park. It has 22 tigers as of today. Leave for tiger tracking & bird watching in a jeep or canter post a delicious breakfast. The abundant water bodies of Ranthambore are the best places to spot some of the 272 documented bird species. Bird species include the greylag goose, Indian grey hornbill, common kingfisher and woodpeckers. Go for another safari in the vehicle of your choice after lunch. Spend the night at the hotel.

Day 8: Ranthambore National Park-Bundi

Having treated the wildlife enthusiast in you, it’s now time to soak yourself in Rajasthani heritage ruins of impressive forts, temples at every nook & corner and mystifying architecture as you proceed to Bundi early in the morning. Once you have reached the city, visit the 1354 AD-constructed Taragarh Fort. It provides a nice view of the city and the Aravalli hills. Art lovers must not miss the Bundi Palace, known for its colourful murals. The tremendous work that has gone into them is evident. Raniji ki Baori , one of the largest stepwells in Rajasthan would leave you speechless. In the night, you would be staying at a hotel.

Day 9: Bundi-Chittorgarh-Bijaipur

After a nice breakfast in the morning, leave for Bijaipur, a village known for Castle Bijaipur, built by the younger brother of the great Indian warrior, Maharana Pratap. Stop by the World Heritage Site, the Chittorgarh Fort. It is the largest fort in India! Resume your journey to Castle Bijaipur. Check into the hotel upon arrival. Have a walk in the village to observe the dressing style of the locals. Spend the remainder of the day leisurely. Stay in the hotel overnight.

Day 10: Bijaipur-Udaipur

Check out of the hotel after breakfast and leave for Udaipur, the historic city known as the Venice of the East. Upon arrival in Udaipur, check into the hotel. In the evening, go for a cruise in Lake Pichola, that reflects hills on its clear mirror-like surface. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 11: Udaipur

Have breakfast in the morning and proceed for a full-day of sightseeing. Start with the beautiful garden of Saheliyon-ki-Bari. Its calming lotus pools, awe-inspiring fountains & the charm of an era bygone make it an unmissable place to visit. Next, discover your spiritual side by visiting Jagdish Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the Hindu God, depicted as Jagannath, the Lord of the Universe. Finally, visit the City Palace Museum, dedicated to Raja Sawai Man Singh II, the last ruling Maharaja of Jaipur. After an eventful day, return to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 12: Udaipur-Kumbhalgarh-Ranakpur

Leave for Ranakpur after breakfast in the morning. On your way, stop by the Kumbhalgarh Fort. It has the second largest wall in the world. (The first is the Great Wall of China.) It is known to be the birthplace of the brave Maharana Pratap, one of India’s bravest warriors. Upon arrival at Ranakpur, proceed to visit Chaumukha Temple, dedicated to Adinatha, the first of twenty-four Tirthankaras. He is credited for organising humans to live peacefully in a society. The details in the carving would leave you speechless! In the evening, you would be taken to enjoy the sunset at a lake.

Day 13: Ranakpur-Jodhpur

After breakfast, leave for Jodhpur, the second largest city of Rajasthan. Check into the hotel upon arrival. Enchant yourself in the afternoon as you visit one of the largest forts in India, the Mehrangarh Fort. Next, visit Jaswant Thada, the memorial to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, built out of extremely thin, intricately carved sheets of marble. Stay at the hotel overnight.

Day 14: Jodhpur

It’s the day to get fascinated by Bishnoi village culture. Bishnoi is a Hindu sect, that was founded by Guru Jambheshwar in 1485. The Bishnois are founded in the Thar Desert of Rajasthan and are known for their love for the environment. You would be taken for a village safari tour in a jeep. You would witness wildlife, particularly deers roaming freely! Stay overnight in Jodhpur.

Day 15: Jodhpur-Jaisalmer

After breakfast in the morning, leave for Jaisalmer, “The Golden City”. This city, located in the heart of the Thar (Think about sand dunes and camels!), has several historic & artistic monuments. Check into the hotel upon arrival. Your evening would be free for leisure activities. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 16: Jaisalmer

Post a relaxed breakfast in the morning, leave for a full-day of sightseeing. Start with the Jaisalmer Fort, which was constructed in 1156 AD by Rawal Jaisal, the city’s founder. Next visit the Patwaon-Ki-Haveli. It is the first haveli erected in the Golden City. From one awe-inspiring haveli. Move to another, Built in 1815, Salim Ji Ki Haveli was occupied by the most influential family of Jaisalmer. The haveli tour is incomplete until you visit Nathmal Ji Ki Haveli. It has engravings of modern amenities such as cars. After Unwind yourself at the Gadsisar Sagar Lake. It’s a beautiful rainwater lake, surrounded by small temples.

In afternoon you would be moving to Khuri village after the sightseeing. This would be the highlight of your Rajasthan tour. Experience how life in the desert is as you have a camel safari. You would have the option to sleeping under the star-studded sky! You could sleep in desert huts or tents.

Day 17: Jaisalmer (Khuri) -Pokhran-Khichan-Bikaner

After breakfast in the desert camp, proceed to Bikaner, formerly the capital of a princely state of the same name. On your way, visit the 14th century Pokhran Fort. Imagine the extraordinary strength of the former Maharaja, whose 35 kg sword is on display! Also stop by Khichan, a village that has achieved international recognition for hosting over 20,000 demoiselle cranes every year! Check into the hotel upon reaching Bikaner. Visit one of India’s biggest religious wonders, the Karni Mata Temple that is home to approximately 20,000 revered rats! Return to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 18: Bikaner-Mandawa

This morning after breakfast drive to Mandawa, upon arrival check in to hotel then have guided tour Mandawa city. which is famous for there’s beautifull colourful havelies. Stay overnight in Mandawa.

Day 19: Mandawa-Delhi

You would be taken to Shekhawati, the historical region known for its colourful havelis from the 18th & 19th centuries. Having the largest concentration of frescos in the entire world, it is referred to as the “Open Art Gallery of Rajasthan”. Visit the Mohan Lal Saraf Haveli. There’s an interesting depiction of the Maharaja grooming his enormous facial hair. Move to the Chokhani Double Haveli which derives its name from the fact that it was built in two adjoining wings for two brothers and their families. Your haveli tour would be incomplete without the Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli. Carved wooden gates and latticed windows are the main attractions here. Visit Mahansar, the village and Dundlod, the town. Meet the local village chief. Leave for Delhi. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 20: Delhi

Have breakfast at the hotel. Your would be free to explore the city and buy any presents for loved ones/ do last-minute shopping. Post a lovely dinner, you would be taken to the airport for your onward journey with unforgettable memories of this Forts and Palaces Tour!
