Day 1: Delhi

Be received by our representative at the Delhi Airport, upon arrival. Then, be driven to your hotel. Go for a guided tour of the city post breakfast. Visit the Red Fort. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Also see Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques, opposite the “Lal Qila”. Then, go to Qutub Minar, the second-tallest minar in India, the construction of which was started by Qutbu I-Din Aibak. The park around Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of The Nation. After visit India Gate, the war memorial to 82,000 soldiers! The Mughal Gardens at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, featuring a large variety of colourful flowers would leave you mesmerised. Also visit the Lotus Temple, the Bahai House of Worship, that has won numerous architectural awards. Finally, visit Birla Mandir. Stay overnight at delhi.

Day 2: Delhi-Jaipur

Leave for Jaipur after breakfast. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Enjoy a nice walk through the local markets of the Pink City. Return to the hotel and spend the night.

Day 3: Jaipur

Post breakfast, meet our guide and visit the popular tourist attraction, the Amer/ Amber Fort, constructed in the year 1592, by the Rajput king, Raja Man Singh I. (1550 – 1614) Have an elephant ride there. Then, after lunch, go to Hawa Mahal, the five-storey honeycomb-like palace, that resembles the crown of Krishna, the Hindu God. Also visit the Jantar Mantar, the astronomical observatory built by Sawai Jai Singh, the Rajput King. You cannot miss City Palace, the seat of the erstwhile Maharaja of Jaipur. It was built between the years 1729 and 1732. The City Palace Museum is dedicated to Raja Sawai Man Singh II. (1912-1970) Walk through the Pink City and be fascinated by the traditional dressing style of the locals. In the night, have an authentic Rajasthani thali meal with unlimited servings! Return to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 4: Jaipur-Bharatpur-Fatehpur Sikri-Agra

Start for Keoladeo National Park after breakfast, inhabited by over 230 species of birds. Then, proceed to Fatehpur Sikri, the city founded by the Mughal Emperor, Akbar (1569-1627), in the honour of the Sufi saint, Salim Chishti. (1478-1572) Move to Agra, and check into the hotel. Your evening would be free for leisure activities. Have dinner and stay overnight.

Fatehpur Sikri: Probably the first thing that comes to mind when one thinks of this historic city is the massive Buland Darwaza. Fatehpur Sikri was founded by Akbar to honour Salim Chishti (1478-1572), the Sufi saint who led his division in the famous battle of Haldighati, alongside Akbar. Devotees visiting his tomb believe that all their wishes get fulfilled.

Day 5: Agra-Gwalior-Orchha

Early in the morning proceed to the most visited monument in India, the Taj Mahal! This marvellous white marble-mausoleum, decorated with multicoloured flowers and vines (of gemstones), topped with a 15-foot high bronze finial, is one of the wonders of the world. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan (1592-1666), in the memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal (1593-1631), who died while giving birth to their daughter, Gauharara Begum. (1631-1706) You would be taken for a lovely breakfast next. Having treated your tastebuds, resume the sightseeing tour and visit the red, glorious Agra Fort first. Then, move to the Tomb of I’timd-ud-Daulah, sometimes referred to as “Baby Taj”, since it is thought to have inspired the Taj Mahal. Finally, proceed to Orchha, a town of tourist interest in Madhya Pradesh. On your way, visit Gwalior, nicknamed the Tourist Capital of Madhya Pradesh. Travellers visiting Gwalior never miss to see the 8th-century Gwalior Fort, first mentioned in a 525 AD record! Jai Vilas Palace Museum is a part of the Jai Vilas Palace, that has European architecture. Visitors often refer to the museum as a dream come true! Visit more monuments and resume your journey to Orchha. Check into the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 6: Orchha

After a delicious breakfast, leave for sightseeing in Orchha. You can’t miss Jahangir Mahal, the citadel and garrison that was built by Vir Singh Deo for welcoming Jahangir, the Mughal Emperor. Move to Raja Mahal, a grand, old palace built by Raja Rudra Pratap and his son, Bharti Chand. Experience the magnificence of Indian temples as you go to Ram Raja Temple, the only temple in India where Lord Ram is worshipped as a king. Continue to discover your spiritual side as you visit the Chaturbhuj Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Legend has it that was constructed after Rani Ganeshkuwari was visited in a dream by Lord Ram. Then, there is Lakshminarayan Temple, dedicated to Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth. Your visit to Orchha would be incomplete unless you have seen the impressive Chhatris Cenotaphs. Have a walk in the local market. Return to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 7: Orchha-Khajuraho

Leave for Khajuraho after breakfast. Upon reaching the destination, enjoy a nice walk through the local market. The Kandariya Art & Culture is a nice place to enjoy a folk dance performance. Stay overnight at Khajuraho.

Day 8: Khajuraho

Post breakfast in the hotel, proceed for a day of sightseeing. Khajuraho is known for its Hindu and Jain temples. A portion of the art work is erotic. Spend your evening leisurely. Return to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 9: Khajuraho-Varanasi

Leave for Varanasi, the “Spiritual Capital of India” after breakfast. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Then, go shopping in the local markets and visit the ghats. Spend your evening leisurely. Spend the night at the hotel.

Day 10: Varanasi

You would be taken to the banks of Ganges River early in the morning. You would be taken for a boat ride, starting at the Dasaswamedh Ghat. It is the main ghat. The ride would end at Manikarnika Ghat, known as a place of creation. Visit one of the most famous temples in India, the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva, one of the main deities of Hinduism. The Gyanvapi Mosque is attached to it. Go to the Banaras Hindu University. The largest residential university in India, and one of the largest in Asia, it has over 20,000 students! Return to the hotel for breakfast. Visit Sarnath, the sacred site for worldwide Buddhists. Gautam Buddha first taught the Dharma here, which means the cosmic law. The Sarnath Museum has around 7,000 artifacts and sculptures!

Day 11: Varanasi-Delhi

After visiting Varanasi in evening depart you to Railway station to take aircondition sleeper train to Delhi. Overnight in train.

Day 12: Delhi

This morning upon arrival pick you from Delhi railway station and transfer to hotel or your destination.  Leave for the remainder of your journey.
